When I moved the whole weartested content to it’s new home www.weartested.de last year, it was only my second favourite URL. Of cause I wanted www.weartested.com, but although it wasn’t used in any way , it was already owned by someone else. During 2010, I got the chance to finaly buy it and since yesterday, it’s the new official home for my detailed skate shoe reviews.
For 2011 you can expect more very interesting projects, brands for the first half year will include Habitat, Gravis, Nike SB and Adidas. I’d also like to thank all my loyal visitors and readers, the constantly high visitor stats keep me motivated to update this site as often as possible.
I’d also like to thank all companies and the people who work for them that supported me in 2010. Without you I wouldn’t be able to keep this site as interesting and up to date as it is.
Last but not least I’d like to finish with a small wish. Please keep posting comments, send me emails and tell me your constructive criticism and opinions. Let me know what you’d like to see and read about in the future and where weartested could improve.

December 30, 2010I like how you review every aspect of the shoes, but I dislike the “one day with” series of reviews because unlike you, most of us don’t have the opportunity to skate a shoe for a day and try and predict how long it will last, we actually have to skate them until they’re done. However, please keep up the great reviews I’m hoping to see more soon.

January 1, 2011That’s the idea of the “One day with…” reviews : The readers get an idea of how the shoes are without having to buy them and later find out how good they actually are.
I invented the shorter reviews, because this way I can review more shoes, even ones that are not ground breaking, but still good, basic shoes.
