Update: Lakai Mike Mo

This is the Mike Mo after 6 hours of skating. Please notice the almost perfectly fine laces…not bad so far! And I can also reveal already that many will be stoked on the cupsole of these, at least I am.

No, they are a new construction. Check the Mj-5 review, they have a lakaitning sole.

so, im stuck between these and the mj5s, which are you more stoked on? also, do you do gaps, at least, chest high during your testing?

Right now I like the Lakai Mike Mo better. And yes, I do gaps but i can’t say that “at least chest high” are part of my daily routine.

What does the “XLK” on the sole stand for? And also, What does your bag of tricks consist of while wearing this shoe?

The XLK stands for a new cupsole construction of Lakai as far as I know, I don’t remember the exact meaning though.

the XLK is a new cupsole construction thats supposed to have the protection of a cup, but more flexibility and boardfeel than a cup.

Are they wide? Wider or slimmer than the MJ-5 ? Thinking about buying a pair online, so I would really like to know.

I’d say they are approximately the same.
